Beautiful Anna at Lake Tahoe
Anna ready for the drive around Lake Tahoe. It took us about 6 - 7 hours to drive around the whole Lake. We took lots of stops though!
Hiking around Fallen Leaf Lake. On the way back we saw a brown bear! Thankfully the bear was not interested in us! It was about 70 feet away from us and just kept walking through the woods.
Taking a little lunch break at the lake. What a beautiful place!
Of course it started raining as soon as we paid the parking fee! We were really glad we chanced it though. There were three beautiful lakes all next to each other. One of the lakes was surrounded by tall cliffs and you could rent little canoes. Too bad Anna can't swim, it would have been fun to go out on the lake!Family Time
Here is my mom helping Anna have a smooth ride in the car.
My dad with Anna.
My brother, Matt, with his daughter, Allikaye, and our Anna.
Triple A: Ashley, Allikaye and Anna. Ashley is my brother's wife and Allikaye is their adorable daughter. Our first niece!
My sister, Katie, also spent some time with us while we were visiting. I can't believe we didn't even get a picture of Anna and Katie together. We're so sorry Katie! We'll get tons when you come to visit.

Colorado Baby Shower
Erin, Katie, and Lynn with a cake made out of diapers that Lynn made. Katie put this shower together, and it was so good for Erin to be able to celebrate with her friends and family in Colorado.

The view just across the southern border of Colorado...ah, the fresh mountain air!Christmas 2008
We were in Colorado for Christmas this year...here is a photo of Lynn and Allie (our neice) jamming. Both are naturals!
Mom and Dad came down here to Texas to celebrate Christmas with us in January. It was great to see them, and we are so thankful that they made the long drive for such a short time here in Texas. We had a good time opening presents and then going for a walk around the pond. It's always good to have face to face time with those we love. Thanks to Mom and Dad Funk for coming down here for such a short trip!Thanksgiving in Clinton
The pups are ready for a walk in Clinton! We think this is the first time Penny's left the state of Texas. She did great!Since this picture was taken, we've had to give Penny up because she was having potty issues in the house. Thankfully, our neighbors down the street took her in and it worked out great because they have all tile in their house. She's in a great home, and we still get to see her every few days when she goes for walks. We miss her, but we know it's for the best, especially with a baby on the way.
