New Job

After 8 months of intensive training here in Phoenix, I've been offered a position as a First Officer for American Eagle airlines. It's been a long road, but it's been an exciting journey. Erin has been incredibly supportive. It's still going to be a lot of work to successfully complete Eagle's training program, but I am looking forward to taking this dream of flight to the next level.
We will be domiciled in Dallas, and I don't yet know in which aircraft I'll be training to fly. We're looking forward to living in Dallas, even though it is in the Republic of Texas! Thank you for all of your prayers for us, and please continue to pray as we move forward into the next adventure of this journey of our lives.

Goldfield Ghost Town, Arizona

We took my first day off in a really long time and went to the Goldfield Ghost Town (about a 45 minute drive from where we live). It was a good time to spend the day together, eat a barbeque pork sandwich, listen to live music, see a gunfight show, and just enjoy a beautiful day. Here are a few more pictures from yesterday...

Funk Family in Arizona (Christmas, 2007)

Nathan's family drove about a thousand miles to be here in Phoenix with us on Christmas. It was awesome having them here with us to share in the Christmas that would come to forever live in infamy as "The 2007 Cactus and Palm Tree Christmas."

I took the family out to the airport to show them what I've been up to the past few months. Here's a good snapshot of what's been crackin'
